I’ve been going to the gym for quite some time now and I’ve come to a few thoughts about it at the people in it:
1) No, you do not need all that stuff they sell you. You do need however a good set of work out clothes (never make not doing laundry a reason to not go to the gym!), get a good washable waterbottle, steady shoes and if your wrists are weak a pear of workout gloves.
2) Think big
When in doubt go for the big muscles in your body, less weights and more reps.
3) Do the stuff not even your trainer would do like burpees and jogging 🙂
4) Eat enough make sure your NET calorie intake is sufficient, what you eat – burned calories.
5) E-v-e-r-y-o-n-e is insecure. A girl in the gym was so amazingly fit, had a rock hard stomach and a perfect ass and I was so jealous! Then she started going through all the stuff she wasn’t happy with and she was worries about what the judges are going to say at her fitness competition!
